Heading & Associates assist with Melbourne Water in the upgrade of Toorourrong Reservoir to bring it in line with new Australian Dam Safety requirements. This includes replacing the old spillway and raising the dam wall by 2.5metres. We're also strengthening the embankment, upgrading the Clearwater channel diversion structure and replacing the existing scour gate. The present infrastructure is 120 years old and must be replaced to continue to meet structural standards. Some of our oldest assets have been removed, restored or turned into a display if they can't remain a functioning part of the water supply system.
