WATER SUPPLY ALLIANCE – Baulderstone Hornibrook/United Group/Sinclair Knight Merz

Location: Victoria
The Water Supply Alliance project sees Heading & Associates joining forces with Baulderstone Hornibrook, Sinclair Knight Merz and United Group, in partnership with Melbourne Water.

This major initiative will deliver at least 40 projects over a five-year period. It involves civil, mechanical and electrical works, tanks and pipelines, accompanying the set out of new pump station and water supply lines. The program will greatly improve the water storage, treatment and distribution processes in Melbourne and country Victoria, including:

  • Winneke Treatment Plant
  • Preston to Essendon Water Main Upgrade
  • Water main replacement in Northcote and Fitzroy
  • Water main replacement from Morang Reservoir to Rosanna
The cost of the Alliance’s infrastructure improvement projects is expected to be approximately $350 million.
