Heading & Associates gained another interstate contract, this time taking the team to the south-west of Wagga Wagga, NSW, in order to build the state's most modern and efficient power plant.
The team worked alongside Bilfinger Berger Services and Baulderstone Hornibrook in constructing the largest gas-fired power station and roadworks in NSW. It is designed to generate power in times of high demand, and plays a significant part in servicing the state's power requirements and reducing greenhouse emissions. The Uranquinty Power Station is operated by NewGen Power. It was completed at the end of 2008.
